U.S. Waterproofing Returns Headquarters To Schaumburg

by Eric DeGrechie, Patch

U.S. Waterproofing is moving back to a familiar place. The basement waterproofing company, started in 1957, is returning to set up its headquarters in Schaumburg after 14 years in Rolling Meadows.

The newly renovated property at 81 Remington Road covers six acres and features ample parking for staff and company vehicles, a state-of-the-art employee training area, an abundance of communal and collaborative workspace, conference rooms, a fitness area, and plenty of space for future expansion, according to Matt Stock, company president.

"We are thrilled to come back to Schaumburg after 14 years," Stock said. "Because of the continued growth of our business — not to mention a plan to add more staff immediately — we needed more space, and when we had the opportunity to expand in a community that we are familiar with and fond of, it made perfect sense."

U.S. Waterproofing will still maintain a presence in Rolling Meadows, as it will serve as an additional production facility.

"Schaumburg is excited to have U.S. Waterproofing move back into the largest center of economic development in the State of Illinois, outside the City of Chicago," said Schaumburg Village President Tom Dailly, in a release. "Their investment in Schaumburg will bring additional quality jobs and will offer an opportunity to grow in our community. We welcome U.S. Waterproofing to Schaumburg and look forward to a strong partnership in the future."

Stock said business typically picks up for U.S. Waterproofing in the spring when the real estate market gets busy.

"We wanted a space that reflects our innovative and team-oriented culture," Stock said. "People are also spending more time at home and investing more in their houses, so we needed to respond accordingly to that growing interest in home improvement."

U.S. Waterproofing services over 400,000 homes according to its website at www.uswaterproofing.com.
