by Norrine Twohey, Daily Herald

Congratulations to village of Schaumburg Trustee George Dunham, who was recognized at the June 22 village board meeting for his 30 years of dedicated service to the board.

Dunham accepted the recognition, which included an award plaque, from Mayor Tom Dailly, who extended his congratulations and gratitude for Dunham's continued service to the community.

"This village has meant a lot to me, and the longer I serve, the more it means," said Dunham.

Dunham is chairman of the Finance, Legal, Administration, General Government Committee, a member of the Public Safety Committee, and a member of the Planning, Building and Development Committee. As senior trustee, he also hosts the quarterly Coffee with the Council meetings.
